Coemar Rotostar 6

Simple 6 x 6V 30W Par36 Helicopter, but not the Showtec quality. Sturdy Coemar quality. It has the same gearbox and body as the Rotomax.
Bought it from a very young deejay, who quit after two years of trying...he became a farmer..;-)

Kremesa two pin helicopters

Bought them in Germany a couple of years ago. Need to have them sandblasted and powercoated...It's no my priority at this moment.

Fal Double UFO

It looks like a double Clay Paky Astro, or as the seller named it the Astro 4.
Its a Fal product with the heads based on the famaous Clay paky Astro Disco.
It comes with two 24V 250Watt lamps and the discs turn reversed to each other and the head makes a 360 degrees turn.

very heavy and nice to see. All movements are made on 1 powerconnector, but I'll detach them to make all three jobs separately possible (Lights, disc turn, axle turn)

And as you see from the pictures, this unit need some TLC...after the holiday period I'm going to work on it

Clay Paky Astro Disco 3

There are things in life, when you collect Vintage Light Effect, that you don't want and that is selling one, knowing you'll regret it. This is one of them.
Not only was this one in a mint condition, it was one of the very rare 200 Watt SN lamps factory build. 99% of the Astro's sold are the 150W, 24V lamps. They are cheaper, burn much quicker. The SN needs time to warm up, but it's twice as bright as the common version. I sold it to a light designer in Holland, Martin Ciesluk. He was very glad with this one..hope he still has it..

Coemar Rotomax

Got these twins from a deejay in Germany, who modified these big helicopters. The weight of a rotomax is largelu due to the transformator. Rotomax, do not operate with Par36 bulbs, but with 24V 75W Truck Bulbs. Yes, Ordinary Truck bulbs, which makes them very bright!!! But also in need for a lot of power. So he made a customade PSU for these two effects. You'll see them in the pictures... Unfortunately is one of them disabled. One of the gearboxes has crashed....until I find another one he doesnt turn anymore....

Sear Electronics Saturno

UPDATE 9/3/13

We started on the restauration and i't's easier than expected!! Check the video for the progress

http://youtu.be/Z3W-HFQ9dyI

UPDATE 5/2/13

I've got the lady home...no need to strip her..A good cleaning and 10 new reflectors and she is a go!!

If you visit my site, it will probably be, because you're interested in Vintage Light Effects, or you have one or more of these yourselves. So perhaps, you can help me out here. I've got these pictures of this light effect, but apparantly there can no logo's or inscriptions be found on the light effect to determine it's name or origine...
Please drop my a mail if you know what it is...

UPDATE :  Thx to Rinus, one of Hollands leading collectors of vintage light effects, we've managed to get at least the name of the product. It's a Sear Electronics. Typenumber is at this time still unknown, but I'm sure we will get to that.

UPDATE : Again thx to Rinus. The type is the Saturno...let's google to find additional information!!
