Ever Hexagon

My first Ever product ever bought..Its a simple 6 bulb helicopter, but with a fairly complicated drive unit, which is situated at the inside of the head.

Just for fun!

Clay Paky Astro Disco 3 (READY FOR RENT)(2 pcs)

A littel bit further down the blog you will find and entry in which I display the CP astro Disco 3 with the very rare HTI version, which I sold. The actual owner had some damage with the unit and decided it was better to return her to me, because, and I quote "she is better off with you"...
But he didnt return just one unit, I bought his own unit, a standard AD3 with Halogen lamp also....so now I have 2 AD3 in my collection!!

Satel Oxis (in storage since decembre 18th 2013)

Got an offer to buy a Satel Oxis. In the early 90s I had two of them and they are still very cool vintage effects.
The unit was on a list of an inventory from a former Night Club named Red in Leeuwarden (NL)
I finally came to an agreement with the owner and got her. She is in a fairly good shape, but needs a new powdercoat and rewire...

Will keep you posted with the progress!

Coemar Comet 36

They are as rare as a Toyota GT 2000, but still I have been in the position to buy a Coemar Comet 36 in very good working condition.
The shell has been painted black. I will get this unit in january 2014 and will then look if it is possible to repaint the Shell back into it's original Spick Silver color.

After receipt of the big item, it will go straight to my flightcase builder for the build of a flightcase, because it is too big, too fragile, to transport it without a good case!

To get a good impression, here's a movie :

Clay Paky Astro Spider aka Tarantula

Great news, after having sold my Astro Spider three years ago to my friend and collector of vintage light Pat, I've been able to get my hands on a vintage and mint Astro Spider including flightcase. Nice addition to the collection!!

NISEL SYNCROBAR 250 (Restauration project ready about februari 2014)

UPDATE

Ladies en gentlemen, we've got them...serial numbers 21, 22, 23 and 24 of 200 made. I was a bit sceptic about the specs I got from David, but it is correct..This thing is enormous...They look beaten, but it's only fly rust, nothing serious...A good sandblast and powdercoat and they will be running like a new one!!!

I will keep you posted on the progress!!

UPDATE

Thx to David Clormann, the Jedi in old school disco effects. he came up with this old page from a Nisel folder.handwritten mind you

As you can see, the weight is an impressive 62!!!! kg and its about 2,80 mtr. The Bulbs are no Par36 but impressive PAR 64 Aircraft lamps!!!

Can you help me find the brand and type of this effect. No only does the beam move from left to right. but also the lamps itself make a 45 degree swivlle.
